The design of the
Air Jordan 3 was totally different from the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 2. It was the first pair of
Air Jordan shoes that showed a visible air sole. While the
Jordan 3 might be one of the most popular Air Jordans ever, it was nonetheless highly unpopular when retroed in 1994. The designer behind this innovation was Tinker Hatfield who designed every Air Jordan model up to the 15th and has recently returned to design the Jordan XX.
